ABOUT BRETT

Brett's media career began at WVBO and WOSH/WNAM and WRST in the Fox Valley while a RADIO-TV-FILM major at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. After transferring to the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Brett began a 3 year run at Entercom Milwaukee.

While at Entercom, the first time, Brett wore many hats including promotions assistant, Internship Program Coordinator, interim overnight host on Kiss Fm, interim night host on Kiss Fm, interim night host on 99.1 WMYX, Kiss Fm morning show stunt boy, and more.

After graduating from UWM, Brett moved to Lincoln, NE to begin his new gig as Night Show host and Music Director at 102.7 KFRX. After two months on the night show on KFRX, Brett was promoted to Afternoon Drive Host and Interim Program Director. That summer, KFRX enjoyed there first #1 ratings book (12+)in many years.

Not long after the move to afternoons at KFRX, Brett got a call from old friend and former Kiss Fm afternoon host Mat Mitchell. The call came with an offer to host nights at Clear Channel's KZCH in Wichita, where Mat was morning show host/APD at the time. So Brett packed the U-Hal again and headed for Kansas.

In just over a year as the night host at KZCH (Channel 963), Brett became the station's first #1 rated night host (18-34 F). In September of that year, in conjunction with Mat Mitchell's promotion to Program Director, Brett was promoted from nights to Afternoon Drive and was named the station's Assistant Program Director. While at Clear Channel, Brett also hosted voice tracked shows at 92.1 The Beat in Tulsa, 98.7 Kiss Fm in Iowa, 97.9 Kiss Fm in Jacksonville, X107.1 in the Cayman Islands!


After only three months in afternoon drive, Brett took over as host of the Morning Drive show and was named Interim Program Director at Channel 963.

Next came the West Coast, as Brett was offered and accepted the position of Afternoon Drive host at KVEG, Hot 97.5 in the Entertainment Capital of the world, Las Vegas. While afternoon host at Hot 97.5, Brett was rated by Arbitron as the #1 afternoon drive host (18-49 P).


The glitz and flashing lights were not enough to keep Brett in Las Vegas and in June 2007, Brett returned to where in all began, taking over as the night host at 103.7 Kiss FM in Milwaukee. Since taking over the show, Brett has been rated #1 in nearly ratings period (18-34 F), including an impressive 26.6 share during the important fall 2007 rating period. In fall of 2008, Brett finished first with females and persons 25-54 years old as well as number one with persons 18-34 and held a 39.1(#1) share of the 18-34 year old female audience. In addition, listen on Milwaukee's Mix 99.1 WMYX every Saturday morning from 6-10am, and every weekday while you work from 10am-3pm in Texas on Abilene's Hit Music Channel 9-5-Q. Brett is also a producer/voice talent for TV and Radio Voices, L.L.C.
Brett Grew up on Milwaukee's North Shore and currently lives in Milwaukee with his pet chair Bill.
